Addressing the Knowledge Gap
We are bringing education to low income communities without dependence on internet or smart devices - both of which are a luxury for more than 2 billion people. According to International Telecommunication Union (ITU) 369 million young people and 3.7 billion people in total were offline in 2020. Moreover, in least developed countries (LDCs), at least 75% of the individuals owns a basic phone, but only 35% have internet access, source: ITU.
Listening is Learning
To ensure that the audio lessons are more effective, we are working with subject matter experts and teachers to have lessons simplified into bite-sized how-tos and easy-to-follow guides. No more than 3-5 minutes.
AI + Human Touch
By using the oldest form of learning, through storytelling, we unlock the potential of listening as the most important ingredient for learning. Pre-recorded sound cues, embedded within the lessons will also enhance the user experience and nudge positive responses.
To ensure complex lessons in STEM education is understood, we plan to distribute printed handouts/ illustrations to cohorts. Additionally, a call back system will provide quality assurance. Taking care of any clarifications the user may have regarding the lesson.
